Tredegar Mayor's Appeal in aid of Blaenau Gwent Arthritis Support

Cllr-Anita-HobbsDuring her term of Office, May 2006 to April 2007, Councillor Anita Hobbs raised a total sum of £5050.50 for her appeal which was in aid of Blaenau Gwent Arthritis Support.

Arthritis is one of the most widely spread conditions that affects many many people.  It is extremely painful and debilitating. Blaenau Gwent Arthritis Support aims to improve things for those most affected by arthritis and all the money raised by this Mayor's Appeal was used to the benefit of suffers.

These funds were raised through fundraising events such as concerts and raffles and the generous donations from associations such as St. George's Lodge Freemasons (£2000.00), Bedwellty Park Ladies Bowls Club, Tredegar Ironsides R.F.C., Kidz'R'Us, Sirhowy Angling Club, Tredegar Camera Club, Tredegar and District Floral Art Society, Tredegar Round Table, Tredegar Moose International and many more.

A big thank you to all those who graciously gave not just money but their help and support in raising funds for this Appeal.
